Who would think that making web pages could be so fun? With Web Blox, you simply click-and-drag your web pages into existence. On the "Site Map" page, there is a dragable 'New Page' button that you can drop into place among all your other web pages. Simple drag it into position, name it, and save your new site map.

When you return to your website, you will see all of your changes implemented and accurately represented in your navigation system. You can feel the power you now have to create a website the way you want it.

The biggest challenge with many content management systems is that you're taken away from the web page you wish to edit. The result is having to constantly go back and forth in the editing process until you like what you see.

Web Blox changes all this by allowing you to type right into the web page you wish to edit without ever leaving the page. When you click the purple box icon and choose "Edit Text," a movable text editing palette pops up and allows you to style the text, create web links, and insert and resize images into the text area.

point-and-click your perfect background design

Changing your website background is so easy and fun to do. The "Background Library" allows you to search and select the perfect background image, color or pattern for your website. You select the images you like and put them into your favorites. If you want to upload your own, you can add your background creations to your favorites as well.

While editing pages, you simply click the purple box icon in the top-right corner of the web browser and choose "Select Site Background." Your favorite background images appear in a movable palette. Just point-and-click the background image you want and it instantly appears in the background of your website. Select another image, and the whole site changes.

The header area is one of the best ways to make your website unique, as it makes a significant visual presence on your website. Also known as a banner, the header not only has a unique design, but it contains your logo as well.

You can browse through the "Header Library" and move the images you like into your favorites folder. Then you can click the purple box icon at the top-right corner of the header and select "Pick Header" to change the image. If you want to create and upload your own header, Web Blox allows you to put your own creations into your favorites folder.

This is the fun part! Putting your own logo identity on your website, within your header. You can upload JPG's, GIF's and PNG's of your logo into your "Content Library" and then place it in your header area. It's a lot of fun moving your logo around into the perfect position.

While uploading and positioning your logo is one of the most satisfying things to do on Web Blox, images can be difficult for some to manage. We offer a free service where you can email us your logo in JPG format (mylogo@webblox.com) and we will put your logo into your own "Content Library" for you to use.

resizing your site and pages is a snap

Another fun thing to do on your Web Blox website is resizing the entire site and individual pages. You simply click-and-drag little handles until the site or columns on pages are extended or contracted to the position you like. You can also enter in the exact pixel dimension you like for accuracy.

To change the dimension of every web page on your site, you click the upper-right purple box icon and select "Set Site Dimensions." Small purple handle graphics appear to let you slide things left and right or up and down. You can modify the width of the site, the position from the top, the height of the header and the side margins as well. You can also click on other purple box icons to edit the columns within each individual page.
