How is Web Blox different than Joomla or Drupal?
Completely different! Both Joomla and Drupal are a CMS (content management website) tool where accomplished website developers with extensive programming and installation experience can create manageable websites for their clients. While these two sites use "open code" that is free, what the developer creates for their clients is not free and can amount to a very large amount of money to produce. With Joomla and Drupal, most website owners are dependent on a web-savvy middleman to create their website.
Web Blox is a step above a CMS in that it not only manages websites, but it creates websites. Web Blox is calling their system a WDS (website development system), where anyone can create (or develop) their own website without the need of programmers or designers (the middlemen). This new paradigm gives people the power to create and control their own website without having to pay exorbitant prices to get uncertain results. With Web Blox, we allow you to test it out and see how simple, fast and fun it is to use. If it doesn't work for you, you don't have to buy it.
